First consultation & clarification
We clarify who is to be trained, what prior knowledge exists and which topic takes centre stage.
So you have the knowledge in-house instead of having to hire someone for every question.
Not every business wants to outsource its marketing: sometimes it makes more sense to build the knowledge internally, e.g. because someone on the team does the work anyway, because you want to understand what an agency actually does, or because you don't want to ask externally every single time for the day-to-day tasks.
That's exactly what I give training for. I teach you and/or your team what you need for your task, whether on-page SEO, Google Ads or Google Tag Manager. In the end you can do it yourselves, and an external service provider doesn't become the bottleneck when something needs to happen fast or without budget.
Who it's for
For individuals and teams who want to master a particular discipline themselves instead of handing it off permanently. Whether basics or in-depth knowledge in a specific area.
What you get
A training session tailored to your prior knowledge and your goals, via video call or on-site, individually or as a team. With a focus on what you really need in practice.
How I work
In your setup, not in a standard curriculum. Where possible, we work on your real accounts, so that what you learn is directly applicable and doesn't stay theoretical.
A training session makes sense when the knowledge is meant to stay with you in the long term. Instead of completing a single task for you, I give you the tools to take it on yourself.
With me, there's no fixed curriculum that everyone goes through. Instead, my training sessions are based on what you actually need. That can be an introduction to the basics if you're new to a topic, or a targeted deep-dive if you're stuck at a specific point.
In terms of topics, I cover all the areas I work in otherwise: SEO and the question of how to prepare content for search engines, Google Ads from campaign setup to analysis, or Google Tag Manager and the clean setup of tracking and events. Which of these takes centre stage we clarify in advance, so that the time flows into the topics that benefit you.
Whether via video call or on-site, and whether as an individual or in a team, depends on what works best for you. Where possible, we work on your own setup, i.e. on your accounts, your website and your data. That way what you learn is immediately applicable and you don't just take away theory, but something you can use the next day.
We clarify who is to be trained, what prior knowledge exists and which topic takes centre stage.
I tailor the content to your goal and your prior knowledge and prepare the training so that we can work on your own setup as much as possible.
We go through the topics together, via video call or on-site. There's plenty of room for questions and for the concrete cases that come up in your everyday work.
If questions come up after the training, you can get in touch. Follow-up questions about what we covered are part of the scope of my collaboration with you.
By the way, training and implementation don't mutually exclude each other. If you want to take on some topics yourself but hand off others, that can be combined, for example training in on-page SEO while I take on the technical SEO or the tracking setup. Even if you need help with specific tasks down the road (for example, for a relaunch) I'd be happy to help you. What you do yourself and what you outsource is up to you.
Of course, I even recommend it. I want it to benefit you in the long term. And part of that is being able to refresh your knowledge at any time. For the same reason, I also share my training materials with you.
Generally I'm very accommodating there. Even if it's several months later (or years in some cases - that has actually happened before), you can write me an email with your related questions. If it's just a quick question, you don't need to worry. And if we find that a refresher or in-depth training would make sense, I'm happy to help with that too.
No problem: I also implement almost all the topics I train. A training session doesn't commit you to anything, and you can decide at any time to outsource part of it or the whole thing after all.
I usually get back to you within the next few hours. If you'd like, you can go ahead and explain what this is about and leave me a link to your website.
